Mito the Library Cat

This is going to be a blog about the MNL’s wonderful new Library cat, MITO! He is friendly and sweet and adores his friends the patrons. Soon there will be many pictures, blog posts and videos about him here.

He is approximately four years old and was adopted from a shelter called “Focus on Felines” in Uncasville. He was found stray near a biological sciences laboratory on Powerhouse Road, and thus he came to be named Mito, short for Mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell!

We are very happy and lucky to have Mito – he brightens each day at the library for patrons and staff members alike! This blog will tell stories of his “adventures” at the library.
